SCMS, Kintronic Win WTOP Job

From Radio World’s ” Who’s Buying What: SCMS Inc. and Kintronic Labs will supply equipment for upgrades to Bonneville’s Washington RF plant in Wheaton, Md.
“A custom switching, phasor, filter and diplexer package will be installed at the distinctive Art Deco ‘Mother Ship’ transmission site dating from the 1940s for their 50 KW 1500 KHz (currently WTOP AM) signal,” stated Jim Peck of SCMS. “A second station can rapidly be added as part of the system design. New transmission line and interconnects will complete the project.”
