Clear Channel Hires ‘Director of Vertical Real Estate’

Tower space is valuable, and don’t think radio’s largest broadcast doesn’t know it.
Clear Channel Radio has hired Scott Quitadamo in the newly created position of director of vertical real estate. He worked for two years in wireless sales and leasing with American Tower. At Clear Channel, it will be his job to oversee marketing and leasing the company’s towers, billboards and other properties.
Radio Senior Vice President of Engineering Jeff Littlejohn made the announcement. “We had previously outsourced this function to Tower America but we saw greater opportunity by bringing this function back in house. We searched for about three months to find the
right person.”
Quitadamo has offices in Covington, Ky., and Marietta, Ga.
