Kirk Anders Harnack, CBNE, CBRE, is a broadcast engineer, educator and technologist with more than 45 years of hands-on experience in radio and television. After a 25-year career with Telos Alliance, he now serves as a strategic consultant to MaxxKonnect, specializing in audio over IP, broadcast VoIP, audio processing and virtualization. He remains active in station operations as partner and vice president of engineering for Oxford Media Group, South Seas Broadcasting, Delta Radio, Akamai Broadcasting and Kaua‘i Broadcast Partners, and serves on the boards of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame. Based in Nashville, he is program chair of SBE Chapter 103 and the founder and host of the weekly video netcast “This Week in Radio Tech,” now in its 17th year with more than 800 episodes.
