AoIP specialist Barix has upped Vice President of Sales and Marketing Reto Brader to serve as CEO, replacing current chief executive Ivo Killer, the company announced.
Prior to joining the company, Brader worked for companies including Hewlett Packard, Pixelmetrix, Utah Scientific and Alcatel, Barix said in the press release.
Founder Johannes Rietschel will remain with the company as chief technology officer, according to the announcement. Also, Joan Parrilla continues as vice president of engineering, and Mario Almeida prevails as vice president of production.
“Reto knows the market and has demonstrated his strength in building and managing the distribution channel and key customer relationships,” Rietschel said in the announcement. “His many years at the frontline in the worldwide AV and broadcast markets are key assets to Barix.”
Barix was founded in 2001 and recently earned ISO 9001 certification for quality management system and added a new manufacturing partner in Europe.
