Dates for this year’s Texas Association of Broadcasters Show have been announced, with a big move planned for 2027.
The 2026 TAB Show will be held Aug. 5–6 in Round Rock, Texas, at the Kalahari Resorts and Conventions.
Beginning next year, however, the show will head back down Interstate 35 to Austin, where TAB has secured an agreement with the JW Marriott in Downtown Austin through 2030.
In 2024, TAB had moved the show to Round Rock, and the cost of parking downtown was cited by some attendees. But a spokesperson told us that TAB has contracted a discounted self-parking rate for the 2027 show.
The TAB Show has been held in the greater Austin area since 1998.
Registration and hotel bookings for this summer’s show open May 1. Attendance is open to anyone in the U.S., not just TAB members.
Exhibitors and sponsors from prior years receive first preference for participation, and new content proposals are welcome.

The show includes a track for hands-on engineers that focuses on real-world examples rather than academic papers, organizers said.
Sessions will also focus on revenue growth at the local station level, including multimedia sales and content delivery via on-air, streaming and digital platforms.
Additionally, TAB is expanding its program for students looking for an entry into the business.
Approximately 24 radio and TV leaders and engineers work to develop the day-and-a-half agenda.
The show’s planning committees are led by Audacy Regional VP Brian Purdy and Nexstar Amarillo VP/GM Brandy Sanchez, while Sinclair Regional Engineering Director David Ostmo leads the technology session planning committee.
