The NAB Education Foundation is hitting the links as it is set to host its sixth annual Congressional Golf Classic.
The event is open to members of Congress, senior-level staffers, lobbyists, lawyers and broadcast industry leaders in the Washington area. The format is a four-person scramble with prizes given away through a longest drive competition, closest to the pin and a hole-in-one competition; there will also be a raffle.
Proceeds benefit the NABEF and its events, initiatives and career development program.
The Congressional Golf Classic will take place at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md., on Oct. 2. Tee times will go off at 11 a.m. To register, visit www.nabef.org/golf.
