Is radio getting a second chance in the new Nano’s FM tuner? According to Vision Critical Communications, who surveyed 18-34-year-olds in the United States (with parallel studies in Britain and Canada), it is. The company found that the interactive features of the Nano’s FM tuner show potential to reinvigorate interest among younger demographics, those most using MP3 players. The survey showed that 66 percent of Americans aged 18-34 show an active interest in the pause-and-rewind feature of the new FM tuner. Of the five features from the new Ipod Nano that were presented in the survey, American adults rank an FM tuner number three in terms of overall interest.
