The 2026 edition of the “Radio Historian’s” calendar is now available. This year’s calendar features fourteen photographs that commemorate the Golden Age of Radio in the United States.
According to creator John Schneider, the images were taken from an original black-and-white glossy photograph, and have been digitally remastered and colorized to replicate the original scene as accurately as possible. Two pages of text at the end of the calendar describe the history of each scene. Additionally, each month’s calendar page marks important dates in radio history.
The calendar is a passion project for Schneider — “The Radio Historian” himself. Schneider contributes historical features to Radio World. You can read those here.
