Lansing, Mich., Community College is the backdrop for “The Careers in Radio Seminar” scheduled for Saturday Oct. 7. The event is targeted at high school and college students interested in broadcasting.
Topics to be discussed include getting started in radio, technical careers in radio/TV, production and copywriting, radio and the Internet, women in radio, careers in radio and TV news and making it to the “majors.”
Bob Ottaway of Ottaway Communications is the scheduled keynote speaker. Educational sessions and a tour of the Technology and Learning Center of campus station WLNZ(FM) follow the address.
