Potomac Instruments is settling into its new home.
After four decades in Silver Spring, Md., the company moved up the road in June to Frederick, Md. (In fact it is occupying space that was once the offices of Bradley Broadcast, which was acquired a while ago by SCMS). The company makes field strength meters, test instruments, antenna and tower light monitors and related gear.
“In Silver Spring we had two buildings one with three floors and one with two,” Special Projects Manager Guy Berry tells RW. “Unfortunately the floors didn’t line up, so we went up and down a lot and so did every piece of equipment we worked on.”
Berry says the company is up and running at its new address (where the gear stays on one big, flat floor).
