American Amplifier Technologies has announced an agreement with Xperi to expand AAT’s offerings into HD Radio.

The RF transmission manufacturer said it will focus on developing HD Radio modulators, importer/exporter systems and research of new applications for HD data channels.
AAT Chief Technology Officer Matt Rigdon said the partnership will allow innovation and product development “that will benefit the broadcast community as a whole.”
The companies said further details on the technical aspects of the solutions will be shared at a later date.
AAT’s current product lines include transmitters, antennas and other specialized RF products. The company acquired Shively Labs in 2023 and recently introduced a mobile app for infrastructure monitoring.
