ABC News Radio Preps for 9/11 Anniversary Coverage

Radio news organizations are laying out their plans to cover the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

ABC News Radio said it will be providing live coverage from various locales affected by the tragedy, slated to begin at 8:06 a.m. EST on the anniversary.

The three-hour broadcast will include statements from the president and other events as they happen throughout the day.

On-site reporting will feature correspondents Cheri Preston and Aaron Katersky at Ground Zero in New York City, Ann Compton reporting from the White House, Steven Portnoy in Shanksville, Pa., and Vic Ratner from the Pentagon.
