ABC Radio Tops Monthly Net Chart

MeasureCast is out with its first monthly analysis of the Internet radio industry.
For December, ABC Radio’s terrestrial stations dominate MeasureCast’s top 25, with 14 of the slots, including the top two.
Six stations on the list are Internet-only. The ranking is based on Total Time Spent Listening (TTSL) – the number of hours listeners access an online station’s streamed content.
The top 10 formats in order were talk radio; news/talk; contemporary hit radio/top-40; classic rock; adult contemporary; Spanish; rock; country; alternative rock; and “listener formatted.”
This last format recognizes online listeners’ ability to choose their favorite genres, and customize their music mix.
