Ad Council Helps 4 New Partners with Campaigns

The Ad Council plans to partner with four new organizations to develop four public service advertising campaigns. The organizations are the American Cancer Society, Do Something, the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Project Impact and Childhelp USA.
The American Cancer Society’s PSA campaign will focus on increasing awareness of colorectal cancer as a leading cause of death and to encourage screening for the disease among people over 50. The campaign for Do Something, a nationwide youth network, will promote, renew, and redefine democracy, citizenship and community involvement for America’s Youth.
FEMA’s Project Impact seeks to develop a national campaign to increase awareness of preventive measures that the public can take to guard against natural disasters. Childhelp USA, an organization dedicated to the issue of child abuse, will develop a campaign aimed at getting help for children and adults through its anonymous and confidential National Child Abuse Hotline.
