The ex-tend-it FireWire Extender from Gefen is a new addition to the company’s ex-tend-it Professional Series product line.
The FireWire Extender uses a sender and receiver system to transmit date at an average rate of 350 to 400 mbps. Installation is quick, requiring the sender to be connected to the source and the receiver to be connected to the remote device via FireWire.
