Northern Ireland-based compression technology developer APTX has announced the addition of two field application engineers, Damien Vandenbeyvanghe and Simon Denvir.
Vandenbeyvanghe has, according to a press release, “a background in audio processing from low-level to hig- level source code embedded on DSPs or microcontrollers.” He has worked at Sony Ericsson and most recently Alcatel-Lucent.
Denvir has worked at Nortel, power tools maker Danaher and Qualitrol, where he worked with chip power management systems. Both men have a background in customer service as well.
APTX CTO Dr. David Trainor said, “Our two new FAEs will be providing vital on-site customer support and training to our growing roster of licensees.”
