Arbitron Claims a PPM Win in Ad Agency Community

Arbitron said the Interpublic Group has committed to using the ratings provided by the PPM to plan and buy radio once Arbitron deploys the electronic measurement system.
IPG is an advertising and media services company. An Arbitron spokesman said IPG represents more than 30 percent of all of radio’s national spot dollars.
“Advertising agencies have been strong advocates of the PPM, and they are now backing their support with a financial commitment,” said spokesman Thom Mocarsky.
