Armstrong & Getty Aid Fisher House

Syndicated morning duo aims for $2 million mark for veterans care

The syndicated morning show team of Armstrong & Getty has raised over $1.7 million dollars for Fisher House over the past four years. With this year’s effort, Nov. 9–13, they want to close over the $2 million mark.

In fact, they’ve set a $500,000 goal, to blow past the $2 million barrier.

The Fisher House program operates and builds housing at Veterans Administration and other military medical facilities for veterans and their families to stay at while receiving treatment. Fisher House Founder Ken Fisher said, “Providing a home away from home, free of charge, near their loved one’s bedside, allows these families to focus on what matters most. We thank Armstrong & Getty and their listeners for helping us help the families of our wounded warriors.”

Armstrong & Getty are based out of KSTE(AM) in Sacramento and syndicated by iHeartMedia.
