ATA Audio to Market IP Codec

ATA Audio said it has been granted the exclusive U.S. distributorship for the Audio TX STL-IP codec, made by MDO UK.
The codec delivers audio over IP networks; the manufacturer touts it as providing transmission-grade audio quality and robustness and extremely low delay.
ATA President Alvin Sookoo said the product compliments his company’s line of POTS/ISDN/GSM codecs.
The unit can transmit and receive audio using point-to-point UDP or TCP/IP, and point-to-multipoint UDP Multicast network protocols. ATA Audio will service and support the STL-IP unit in its office in New Jersey.
