Audemat Streamlines Group Name

The company cited rapid growth, new structure and ease of communication as the reasons behind the official name change.

French broadcast technology group Audemat-Aztec is simplifying its name to Audemat.

The company cited rapid growth, new structure and ease of communication as the reasons behind the official name change.

Over the last decade, Audemat has, in fact, averaged 25-percent growth and has recently acquired two other French firms: transmitter manufacturer Ecreso and, earlier this year, monitoring and test equipment manufacturer Nortek.

“It seemed simpler to use Audemat instead of Audemat-Aztec now,” said Audemat Group President Bruno Rost. “It is like a return to old times when we were called Audemat, before the acquisition of Aztec.”

The new Audemat logo will replace the old Audemat-Aztec logo over a period of one year on marketing and technical materials, and on product front panels.

Audemat also has shifted its Web domain to audemat.com.
