RadioDNS has announced that Audi is adding the RadioDNS hybrid radio standard to all its cars, starting with the car manufacturer’s new A8 model.
According to the organization, this is a major step forward for open standards in the car. “Audi’s adoption of RadioDNS hybrid radio is a significant milestone in our mission to provide open and interoperable standards for hybrid radio globally,” it said in a release.
“Broadcasters, manufacturers and service providers can create great experiences of broadcast radio that are durable, reliable and not tied to a proprietary platform.”
