Digital audio network technology developer Audinate has announced that U.K.-based equipment manufacturer Glensound has signed on to utilize Audinate’s Dante audio network technology in future products.
Glensound makes mixers, remote systems and similar equipment. Glensound joins Spain-based equipment manufacturer AEQ as a user of Dante.
Glensound Managing Director Gavin Davis said of Dante, “The user simplicity and proven reliability is what our customers expect. In our early stages of integration, we are very pleased with the progress being made, and we look forward to announcing new products at NAB 2014.”
Dante is an Ethernet-based multichannel digital audio system. According to Audinate it has been adopted by more than 100 equipment manufacturers.
