BE Wins Huge Nigeria Contract

Broadcast Electronics Inc. is going to be busy for the next 18 months.
BE just inked a deal with the government of Nigeria to supply and install gear for 32 new FM stations around the African country.
Each installation will include BE’s new FM-20S solid-state transmitter — which recently won Radio World’s “Cool Stuff” Award — in a main/alternate configuration.
Production and on-air studios will use AudioVault digital automation systems. Northgate Ltd. of Lagos, Nigeria, will assist in the project.
At the contract signing, Professor Jerry Gana, Minister of Information for Nigeria, stressed the importance of this project as a means of “uplifting the people through greater local communication and information.”

Sorry. No data so far.
