Australian broadcast facilities and services operator Broadcast Australia has installed two 20 kW air-cooled Harris Flexiva transmitters; one each at its sites at Goschen, Victoria and Mount Dowe, New South Wales.
The current beneficiary of the new transmitters is triple j, an indie music station for the Australian Broadcasting Corp.
Peter Lambourne, COO of Broadcast Australia told the manufacturer that the low power consumption of the Flexiva design delivers “tangible energy savings.”
