Ron Burley, president and founder of Broadcast Software International, is stepping down. Vice-President of Operations Chris Kehoe will take over as COO and general manager.
Cumulus Media owns BSI, which makes digital audio software as well as broadcast systems and accessories. Burley launched the digital audio supplier in 1994 and remained as its head after the Cumulus purchase in 1999.
“I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished,” said Burley in a prepared statement. “I will very much miss working with this excellent team. However, I’ve got books to write.” Burley was not available for comment.
