Carolina Christian Station Goes HD Radio

Calling itself the first Christian station in the Carolinas to go digital, WMIT(FM) is on the air in HD Radio.
The station is “106.9 the Light.” In making the announcement, the station noted that it “will be broadcasting the name of the artist and title of the song on the radio screen as it’s being played. The station is exploring other ways this feature can be of service to our listeners.”
The station was founded by Billy and Ruth Graham in 1962. Studios are in Black Mountain, N.C.
