TuneIn, the free radio station portal and streaming service providing music, sports, comedy and talk from around the world, has announced a strategic licensing partnership with one of the largest major market operators in the country, CBS Radio.
The agreement will allow the estimated 30 million monthly active TuneIn listeners to receive more than 40 nationwide CBS Radio news, talk and sports stations.
President of CBS Local Digital Media Ezra Kucharz said in a released statement, “By forging relationships with premiere distribution services such as TuneIn, CBS Radio will significantly grow its audiences by exposing our content to new listeners.”
Stations featured on TuneIn will include WFAN(AM) out of New York, as well as WIP(FM) in Philadelphia and WBZ(FM) of Boston.
