Clear Channel said its iheartradio mobile application is available for smart phones that use Android V1.5 and higher.
“We’re looking at you, Motorola DROID, HTC Droid Eris, HTC MyTouch and Samsung Moment,” a company PR official wrote in the announcement to trade journalists.
The app can be downloaded from www.iheartradio.com or via the Android market starting Thursday (Dec. 24).
USA Today reported earlier that phone users account for about 10% of Clear Channel’s digital audience, about a year after the radio company introduced the iHeartRadio app.
