CES Plays Up Connectivity

The overall theme of the show this year is connectivity. For audio, several presenters are saying consumers want the same level of entertainment that they have in their home to be in their car.

This special edition of The Leslie Report is devoted to the Consumer Electronics Show, now in full swing here in chilly Las Vegas.

It’s rather fitting, as Radio World debuted this report from CES a year ago.

The overall theme of the show this year is connectivity. For audio, several presenters are saying consumers want the same level of entertainment that they have in their home to be in their car, whether that means including those options in the dash at the factory or making it easy for consumers to connect their portable audio devices into the car.
