Clear Channel Worldwide has donated $500,000 to the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network, a nonprofit organization that supports and organizes the work of community volunteers who help solve the nation’s social problems.
Specifically, the new partnership agreement will unite local Clear Channel Worldwide properties around the Presidents campaign to expand community volunteering and service. Additionally, the partnership will foster positive working relationships with community businesses, organizations and groups as well as government leaders.
“The goal of this great partnership,” said Clear Channel CEO Lowry Mays, “is to create opportunities for Clear Channel Worldwide properties, employees, families and friends to participate in and create awareness for local and national volunteerism through the Points of Light Foundation and Volunteer Center National Network.
