A Las Vegas developer plans to redevelop the CBS Radio complex known as Columbia Square on Sunset Blvd., according to a report by GlobeSt.com and quoted by NAB in a newsletter.
The buyer reportedly acquired the property for $66 million, according to Madison Partners.
The Web site quotes the broker saying the owner plans to redevelop the 125,000-square-foot building to attract entertainment industry tenants and is considering options that would include adding residential units.
The property was built in 1938 as a CBS radio studio and also was home of numerous historic TV shows.
