CBS Radio News said the news feature “Katie Couric’s Notebook” is launching on 200 stations, making it “the largest launch for a network radio news feature in history.”
Couric also will anchor the “CBS Radio News” airing at 5 p.m. Eastern.
The TV news personality will also host a daily, on-demand Web feature, which will be made available to News affiliates for broadcast; and affiliates will have the option of simulcasting the initial segment of the “CBS Evening News” for the first time.
Couric’s Notebook is a one-minute look into a news story or issue, available to stations at 4:25 p.m. weekdays and via audio podcast for distribution on stations’ Web sites.
