Cumulus Media continues to make changes in its Youngstown, Ohio, operations. Just announced, Bill Kelly joins the company as vice president and market manager for the eight-station cluster. Kelly is a long-time Youngstown radio vet having worked for Jacor and Clear Channel/iHeartMedia stations in the eastern Ohio city along with stops in West Virginia.
Down in the Fort Walton Beach, Fla., market, Chris Kellogg is the new operations manager for that five-station cluster. He will also co-host the WNCV(FM) morning show with Lisa Captain. Kellogg arrives from Cumulus’ Columbia/Jefferson City, Mo., group. The Fort Walton Beach cluster consists of WNCV, WKSM(FM), WYZB(FM), WZNS(FM) and WFTW(AM).

The Cumulus shop in Knoxville, Tenn., welcomes Nikki Thomas as its new program director at WIVK(FM). She’s coming cross-country from Cumulus Stockton-Modesto, Calif., where she programmed KATM(FM). Thomas has also worked for CBS Radio’s KWYE(FM) in Fresno, Calif., and WKSF(FM) in Asheville, N.C. She’s a country music specialist.
On the promotion front, Jessica Poxson has been moved up to assistant program director at WDRQ(FM) in Detroit. She is also on air as host of “The Jess Show,” weekdays 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Justin Hach has been tapped as the new vice president of digital for the Cumulus San Francisco station group.
The role has been newly created, and the position covers six stations: KNBR(AM), KFOG(FM), KSAN(FM), KGO(AM), KSFO(AM) and KSJO(FM). Hach will lead a team that is responsible for all digital and social strategies, development, content and revenue for these stations, according to the release.
He most recently served as digital and integrated sales manager for the cluster, as well as the Minneapolis cluster.
