Antenna and transmission equipment maker Dielectric signed a partnership agreement with Sweden’s Exir Broadcasting and Telecom AB. Formerly known as Teracom Components, Exir also makes antennas and transmission equipment.
The agreement gives Dielectric access to Exir’s low-power RF filters and combiners while Exir will handle Dielectric’s high-power TV and radio RF systems.
Exir General Manager Hans Dahlén called Dielectric “one of North America’s largest and most renowned suppliers of broadcast equipment.”
Dielectric President Garrett VanAtta said it allows his company to tap into Exir’s low-power technologies.
