The deadline is Aug. 20 to apply for a CPB scholarship to a daylong workshop for public radio managers who need help preparing their digital conversion grant applications.
The event is aimed at stations that haven’t yet begun their IBOC conversions. CPB believes the next conversion application window will open this fall.
CPB and the Association of Public Radio Engineers are conducting the Digital Transition Assistance Program (D-TAP) seminar Sept. 25, the day before the NAB Radio Show begins in Charlotte. The scholarships are meant to help defray the cost of attending the seminar. Another D-TAP event is slated for Oct. 10 following the Western States Public Radio Conference in Los Angeles.
