Attendees of a convention in Amsterdam this month will get a look and a listen at new consumer products for use with the Digital Radio Mondiale system.
DRM will introduce products at the IBC conference, which runs Sept. 9-14, including the Digital World Traveler, which the organization says is the first DRM-capable USB receiver; it is made by Coding Technologies.
IBC attendees can listen to live broadcasts on DRM-capable consumer and software products. DRM member company VT Communications will offer mobile demos in a car during the show.
DRM is a digital radio technology for shortwave, medium-wave/AM and long-wave applications.
