The European Broadcasters Union has released an updated version of its “Loudness Normalisation and Permitted Maximum Level of Audio Signals” (R 128) recommendation.
The new version now includes a slightly wider target level tolerance (0.5 Loudness Unit) to account for minor variations of meter calibrations and errors.
The original recommendation was published in 2010, then it was updated in 2011.
