Eimac Tetrodes Find Use in Continental Dual-Mode Transmitters

An OEM deal on the Who’s Buying What page: The Eimac division of CPI said it is delivering 4CX20,000E tetrodes to Continental Electronics for use in 816HD transmitters.
John Allan of Eimac said, “The recent selection of the 816HD by WQED Multimedia for their HD Radio buildout is the leading edge of what we expect will be a surge.”
Eimac already was supplying 4CX20,000Es for CEC’s 816R-5C and -6C transmitters at 30 kW+ power levels.
