WorldCast Releases Update for Ecreso FM AiO Series

Synchronization technology and a built-in GPS are now directly embedded into the transmitter

WorldCast Systems has announced a software update for its Ecreso FM AiO Series transmitters.

Software version 3.3.2 integrates its APT SynchroStream technology into the transmitter’s APT IP decoder, providing real-time dynamic delay compensation, the manufacturer said in a release. Operators can now adjust overlap areas between multiple transmitters with 50-meter accuracy.

The manufacturer said the software update also embeds the IP decoder and a built-in GPS receiver directly into the transmitter. WorldCast indicated this would eliminate the need for additional third-party equipment that performs those functions.
