Electronic Filing Now Mandatory For LPFMs, NonComs

The FCC is now mandating electronic filing for LPFM license applications (form FCC 319) and CP applications for noncoms (form FCC 340). It stopped accepting paper forms of these applications Nov. 15 and said the mandatory electronic filing commenced on Nov. 18. (The agency did not actually publicize the changes until Nov. 25.)
It may accept paper forms if they’re accompanied by a waiver request, however waivers will not be routinely granted.
Users can access the electronic filing system via the Internet from Media Bureau’s Web Site at: www.fcc.gov/mb. Instructions for use of the electronic filing system are available in the CDBS User’s Guide which can be accessed from the electronic filing Web site.
