Elettronika Goes Wireless

Elettronika, based in Italy, is marketing a line of remote control software. The Network Manager monitors networks by showing the network topology with geographical and topological maps indicating which stations, equipment and devices are having problems.
Features include specific station configuration, language support, Editor and Monitor Modes and alarm detection with automatic call. Remote connections are possible through direct cable, modem and GSM.
The Remote Control Unit lets users read the current status and history of equipment and change the operating parameters for the FM Transmitter MIRA, Amplifier Control Module and some of Elettronika’s FM and TV III, IV and V band amplifiers. It controls via RS-232 serial port at 19200 bps and is controlled either directly or through a modem.
