Emmis, Radio One Fund Helps Minorities

Emmis, Radio One Fund Helps Minorities

The grant application window is open for the Emmis Communications/Radio One Community Fund, which supports nonprofit groups helping minorities in central Indiana. No more than five grants will be awarded, of $10,000 to $50,000 each.
Jeff Smulyan and Alfred C. Liggins III announced the latest round. In 1999 the companies jointly announced a $1 million donation to help minority youth and the creation of the fund to administer grants.
This year’s grants will focus on economic and health issues.
