Entercom Communications has selected Stephanie Callihan as the new VP/general manager of Entercom Austin (Texas). The company also announced that David Levy has joined its board of directors.
A 26-year media veteran, Callihan has held various roles in media and radio, most recently as regional market president for iHeartMedia in Wichita, Kansas.
She has lived in Austin three times during her professional life and has indicated that she is excited to return to a place “where I have family, my dearest friends and longtime business relationships,” said Callihan.
Since 2013, Levy has served as president of Turner Broadcasting System Inc., where he oversees creative and business activity of the Turner signature entertainment networks — TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, truTV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Adult Swim — and their digital brand extensions, as well as Turner Sports. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing domestic revenue (both content distribution and advertising sales) for the Turner portfolio of networks.
He has been recognized for his leadership of Turner’s television and digital sales organizations and their effectiveness in delivering innovative, integrated solutions to customers. He has also spearheaded the growth of Turner Sports.
