Philip Wilkinson is resigning as president and chief operating officer of Entravision Communications Corp., effective May 31.
Wilkinson has had the position since Entravision’s inception in 1996.
He will remain on the board and become a consultant to the broadcaster and continue to advise the company on its strategic and operating plans.
He’s also a shareholder in the Spanish-language media company that has 48 O&O radio stations as well as television and digital operations.
Company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter Ulloa characterized Wilkinson as a tremendous leader and said Wilkinson had spent his entire 25-year career in Latino media.
No reason was given for the change, which the company announced this morning.
