ESPN Radio Signs With Fox for College Bowls

Fox Sports said it reached a four-year sub-license agreement with ESPN Radio for the terrestrial broadcast rights to Bowl Championship Series games televised on Fox.
Terms were not disclosed. Fox is in the middle of a four-year deal with the BCS covering media distribution rights for the Fiesta, Orange and Allstate Sugar Bowls and a new BCS National Championship Game.
The agreement does not include satellite radio rights or provide exclusivity in home markets of participating schools. “Participating school rights holders may broadcast the game in which their team is playing locally,” Fox stated.
ESPN Radio has broadcast the Rose Bowl since 1998, the Fiesta and Orange Bowls since 1999 and the Sugar Bowl since 2000.
