Eureka Summer Blitz Is On

A group formed to publicize the adoption of the Eureka-147 form of digital radio in the United Kingdom has begun a big summer ad blitz. The new radio ad campaign launched across 250 national, regional and local commercial stations.
In the radio and TV ads, airing on BBC and local stations, an actor asks: “Does it Do Digital?” The ads are meant to entice listeners to ask for Eureka-147 DAB receivers.
Created for the Digital Radio Development Bureau, the ads encourage listeners to visit a Web site to find out more about stations, coverage and products. The campaign coincides with the BBC’s own digital radio promotions running on its TV and radio networks.
