The best in radio from across Europe is set to be honored later this year in the European Radio Awards (ERA).
The awards will cover a range of categories, with both individual and team entries, as well as awards for technology-driven radio and Internet-only stations. The full list of award categories has yet to be released.
According to the ERA organizers, while there are radio awards in many nations, “there is no pan-European event that recognizes achievements in the radio industry. The European Radio Awards offer a unique opportunity to ‘unite’ radio professionals across Europe.”
The ERA are presented in association with Media UK, Jones TM and Broadcast Architecture.
The awards process will be Web-based, including entry forms, uploading of audio and judging. The ERA jury will include industry representatives from across Europe.
