FCC Preps for L.A. Ownership Hearing

The FCC will have two media ownership field hearings in the Los Angeles area next Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The first starts at 1 p.m. local time at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The second is at 6:30 p.m. at El Segundo High School in nearby El Segundo.
These are two in a series of media ownership hearings the commission intends to hold. Their purpose is to involve the public in the process as the agency again wrestles with revising its media ownership rules.
