Broadcast engineering consultancy Cavell Mertz Associates is in the Christmas mood, well before Thanksgiving; even before Halloween.

They are offering free use of a newly launched research tool that lists all known FM translators within 250 miles of any given AM station. That kind of information is very much in demand right now given the FCC action last week on AM revitalization.

To take it for a spin: “Go to FCCInfo.com, enter in your AM call sign, and when your station page comes up, you will have the option to run the search.”

Gary Cavell and Dan Ryson are also eager for feedback.
