The Telos Alliance has decided to rearrange some responsibilities of two of its principals, Radio World has learned.
Frank Foti takes on the title of chief executive officer. He told RW he’ll be more involved in business administration matters than in the past.
Mike Dosch, who was named CEO of the company in early 2011, now is president. He said that day to day he’ll focus on heading the product businesses within the Axia Audio and Telos Systems divisions.
Foti and Dosch indicated that the new division of responsibilities was a better fit. The change comes about a year after founder Steve Church announced he was stepping back from hands-on management of the company.
Foti remains head of the Omnia Audio division, a company he founded and later merged into the Telos group. But day-to-day operations at Omnia are being led by Cornelius Gould, Foti said, and have been for some time, allowing Foti to take on more administrative duties while not entirely giving up product work. Leif Claesson is also involved in Omnia product development, among other staff.
Tim Carroll remains as head of the Linear Acoustic division. Foti, Dosch and Carroll have minority ownership of the parent company. Church remains the majority owner.
